Welcome to Virtual Kids Church: May 10, 2020
Week 2 of May, we continue our theme in Kids Church – Unstuck: Don’t Give up!
We have been exploring the concept of what to do when we face challenging situations and already learned that with determination, we can keep going, even when it seems impossible.
Determination: deciding it’s worth it to finish what we started.
This Sunday, we head to Acts 2:1-41 and discover how the disciples were filled with the Holy Spirit, who gave them the strength to keep going and tell the world about Jesus. The Holy Spirit came upon them and empowered them to preach with boldness. Peter preached the message of his life, and over 3,000 people put their faith in Jesus.
Bottom Line: God gives us what we need to keep going. When it comes to determination, your kids might feel like they’ll never have enough of it to finish what they start. Thankfully, this isn’t something they have to face alone. They can rely on God to give them the strength they need to keep going and the Holy Spirit can give them boldness and comfort during challenging times.
