New Live Caption Feature Available on Sunday Mornings

We’re excited to announce a brand-new feature designed to make our Sunday morning services more accessible and engaging for everyone—Live Captions are now available during the message!

Whether you’re deaf, hearing impaired, prefer reading along, or just want to follow the sermon more closely in a noisy environment, live captions will provide real-time text of what’s being said right as it happens.

You have two easy options to access this feature:

  1. Use your phone or tablet’s browser to visit the live captions webpage during the service.

  2. Download the app (available for both iPhone and Android) for a smoother experience and added features.

If you have any questions or need help getting set up, just swing by the welcome center or talk to someone on our tech team—we’re happy to help!

Once you download the app, search for “praisede” or “Praise Assembly”

FAQ

Q: I’m not seeing any captions. What should I do?

A: First, try refreshing your browser or force-closing and reopening the app. Captions typically begin once the announcements or message start, so if it’s still early in the service, you might just need to wait a bit.

Q: The captions are all over the place during worship. What’s going on?

A: You're not imagining things—live captioning technology doesn’t quite know what to do with music and singing (yet!). It works best with clear spoken word, so expect captions to stabilize once announcements or the message begins. Improvements are in the works.

Q: Are captions available during Wednesday Night Bible Study too?

A: Not just yet. Right now, live captions are only available during our Sunday morning services. Stay tuned—we’re always looking to expand access.
