Seniors: Free Class on How to Avoid Falls and Reduce Fear of Falling

One out of every three adults over the age of 65 will fall every year. Are you a senior who has concerns about falling? A Matter of Balance and Christiana Care can help. A Matter of Balance is a free class for older adults intended to teach people how to avoid falls and reduce their fear of falling. Christiana Care is offering these classes on the Newark Christiana Care campus throughout the year. The class meets for 2 hours one day every week for 8 weeks. You will learn how to prevent falls and exercises to improve balance. The next class begins on Tuesday, June 28th from 1-3pm. There are 2 more classes scheduled through the end of 2016. June is Wedding Month

All through the month of June we’ll be celebrating the beauty of marriage by taking an in depth look at marriage, the marriage vow, and the roles and responsibilities of both husbands and wives.

If you're married or want to be married someday, please join the new iMarriage Life Group at 9 AM in the Chapel.

VBS Supplies Needed!

We are looking for some items for VBS this summer (July 11-15; 9 am - noon)

  • Paper towel rolls (50-60)
  • Old, button-down, long sleeve shirts that the kids will put on to protect their clothing during art activities (30)
