Convoy of Hope One Day to Feed The World - November 20
Please plan now to give one day's wages to be part of a ministry of compassion. It's a great way to help show the practical and caring side of Christianity. And to be the hands of Jesus to a world in need.
We're going to be celebrating Advent this year, beginning on Sunday, November 27.
The word Advent means, "the arrival or coming of a notable person," and for the four Sundays prior to Christmas, we'll be looking back at the first advent as well as the second advent of Jesus Christ. Advent was first celebrated by the early church around the 4th century and features 4 themes, Hope, Peace, Joy, and Love. It was an attempt to prepare the hearts for the Christmas holiday.
PowerLine Snacks
Our youth need snacks of all kinds! Chips, cookies, pretzels, etc., as well as treats we can keep in the freezer (bagel bites, taquitos, cheese sticks, etc.).
Please bring your snack donations to church and turn in to any PowerLine Leader. Your support is greatly appreciated!
The Girls Ministries Club will host its Annual Harvest Dinner Event on Wednesday, November 16
Pre-registration and payment is due by the end of day today.
Please see one of the GM leaders at the Information Desk after service to register for this dinner.

Celebration Sunday includes a Baptismal Service, Reception of New Members, and the Dedication of Babies and Children.
Applications for new members, baptisms, and baby/child dedications can all be found on our the Registration Forms and Policies page. The deadline for turning in applications is December 18 with a New Members class being held on December 18 starting at 4 PM.
