Leaders, Parents and boys,
There are many codes, with some being very difficult to break. Our theme will be an 8 point code that has been a proven key to success in life. Our special guests at Connect 2018 will be the Combat Team. The Combat Team does amazing martial art feats to help communicate their message. You and your boys will not want to miss this event. There will be a full complement of activities for ages 4 -18. All DRs, ARs, and ERs will be having fun and learning keys to survival and self defense. Each attendee will also get a Totem Spinning Top. Ranger Kids (K, 1st, 2nd grades) will have their own track.
Churches that don’t have Royal Rangers are welcome – Fathers can bring their sons with their friends. Men - you can bring a group of boys from your church, even if you don’t have Royal Rangers. Make a lasting impact on a boy’s life. Adults, work with your pastor to get the clearance forms filled out. This year you have a choice – bring a tent and camp outside or just bring a sleeping bag and air mattress or cot and stake out a spot and sleep in the huge air conditioned gym. Be sure to bring a foldable chair. There will be plenty of food -- you will not go hungry! There will also be an Ice Cream Snack on Friday night.
We will all be on a meal plan as there won’t be campsites to cook at. Best of all, the price is the same low price as last year, so – bring a friend!! Operation Spiritual Freedom is in effect -- invite new boys who aren’t part of Royal Rangers to this event where they will have fun, and also hear the good news. We have a sponsor that is covering a $5 discount for any new boy invited by a Royal Ranger boy and the boy that brought the new boy will also get a $5 discount – and that sponsor wants to hand out plenty of discounts!
If you wish to tent camp, there is plenty of room. Bring a wash cloth if you wish to wash up. Fires can be made Friday night after the service and our ice cream snack. If you have an elevated fire pan, please bring it and some fire wood and some snacks.
